# Gong

Connecting Gong to PYLO, what it brings and how to tell it is working.

Gong connects to PYLO so that:

- Every call Gong records, matched to its call in PYLO with the transcript, Gong's brief and who talked how much.
- PYLO's call analyser and Lead voice read Gong calls as they read Fathom's, so objection patterns cover your whole team.

## Connecting

Gong connects by an API key you paste into PYLO. Open Settings, then Integrations, then Gong.

| You provide | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Access key | In Gong, a technical admin opens Company settings, then Ecosystem, then API, and creates an access key. |
| Access key secret | Shown once, beside the access key. |
| API host (optional) | Only if the API page shows a host of its own, such as https://us-12345.api.gong.io. |

## What PYLO reads

- Calls in the company's Gong: title, time, parties and their emails, the transcript and Gong's brief

It does not read:

- Gong's scorecards, deals and trackers
- Calls from before the first read, unless they are within its first 14 days
- Audio and video files
