# Grain

Connecting Grain to PYLO, what it brings and how to tell it is working.

Grain connects to PYLO so that:

- Every call Grain records, matched to its call in PYLO with the transcript, Grain's summary and who talked how much.
- PYLO's call analyser and Lead voice read Grain calls as they read Fathom's, so objection patterns cover your whole team.

## Connecting

Grain connects by an API key you paste into PYLO. Open Settings, then Integrations, then Grain.

| You provide | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Access token | In Grain, open Workspace settings, then Integrations, then API, and create a workspace access token. A personal token only sees its own user's recordings. |

## What PYLO reads

- Recordings the token can see: title, time, participants and their emails, the transcript and Grain's summary

It does not read:

- Highlights, stories and clips
- Recordings from before the first read, unless they are within its first 14 days
- Audio and video files
