# HubSpot

Connecting HubSpot to PYLO, what it brings and how to tell it is working.

HubSpot connects to PYLO so that:

- Deals in HubSpot move to the stage you mapped as each call is booked, held and closed in PYLO.
- HubSpot contacts arrive in PYLO as leads, matched to the people PYLO already has by email.

## Connecting

HubSpot connects by a token from your account you paste into PYLO. Open Settings, then Integrations, then HubSpot.

| private app access token | In HubSpot, Settings, Integrations, Private Apps: create an app with the contacts and deals read and write scopes, then copy its access token, which starts pat-. |

## What PYLO reads

- Contacts: name, email and phone
- Deals and their pipelines and stages

It does not read:

- Companies, tickets, notes and emails
- Contacts with no email address, which PYLO cannot match to a person
