# Impact (affiliate program)

Connecting Impact (affiliate program) to PYLO, what it brings and how to tell it is working.

Impact (affiliate program) connects to PYLO so that:

- Each signup's outcome after the program's window is read from the program itself, so nobody ticks retention by hand.
- A reversal reaches its rep the day it happens, and rep commission moves from pending to earned on its own.

## Connecting

Impact (affiliate program) connects by a token from your account you paste into PYLO. Open Settings, then Integrations, then Impact (affiliate program).

| You provide | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| account SID | In Impact, open Settings, then API. The account SID is the id at the top, starting with letters such as IR. |
| auth token | In Impact, Settings, then API: create a read-only auth token and send it with a key drop. Never paste it into a chat. |

## What PYLO reads

- The actions on this partner account: their state, dates, payout, Shared ID and sub IDs

It does not read:

- The buyer's email: Impact's actions don't carry it, so the link's sub ID ties an action to an opt-in
- Anything on another partner account
