# Klaviyo

Connecting Klaviyo to PYLO, what it brings and how to tell it is working.

Klaviyo connects to PYLO so that:

- Each lead's Klaviyo lists and email consent, and the emails they received, opened and clicked, on the lead's page.
- How many of your leads read your emails at all, with both sides of the figure.

## Connecting

Klaviyo connects by an API key you paste into PYLO. Open Settings, then Integrations, then Klaviyo.

| Private API key | In Klaviyo, Settings, API keys: create a private key with read access to Profiles, Lists, Events and Metrics. |

## What PYLO reads

- Profiles PYLO asks about by email: consent, lists, and their email events

It does not read:

- Anyone PYLO does not already hold as a lead
- Campaign and flow content
- SMS
