# Webhook (Zapier and others)

Connecting Webhook (Zapier and others) to PYLO, what it brings and how to tell it is working.

Webhook (Zapier and others) connects to PYLO so that:

- Leads from any tool that can post to an address arrive in PYLO: a Zap, a Make scenario, n8n, or a page's own code. A lead with only a name and a phone is filed too, matched to the person PYLO already has.
- Application to booking for what the webhook sends, beside every other form.

## Connecting

Webhook (Zapier and others) connects by an address PYLO gives you, which the tool posts to. Open Settings, then Integrations, then Webhook (Zapier and others).

1. Create the address below and copy it.
2. In Zapier, add an action: Webhooks by Zapier, then POST. Paste the address as the URL and choose JSON as the payload type. In Make or n8n, use an HTTP request that POSTs JSON to the address.
3. Under Data, send the person as name (or first_name and last_name) with an email or a phone, or both. Add utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term when the trigger has them.
4. To land these leads on a lead source other than website form, send pylo_form with a value of your choosing and map it under Website form.
5. Test the step once. This page says connected when that post arrives.

## What PYLO reads

- The fields each post sends: name, email, phone, and any others, such as UTMs and pylo_form

It does not read:

- Anything the post does not send
- Runs that stop before the step that posts to PYLO
