# Activity

What each rep did on the phones and how well it landed, read from your dialler rather than from end-of-day reports.

Activity answers one question: are your reps working, and working well? It reads calls from your connected dialler rather than from end-of-day reports, and covers the last 14 days, ending today.

## Who can open it

Owners, admins and ops. Anyone else is sent to [Home](/docs/features/home).

## Rules

The **Rules** card sets how activity is judged. Owners, admins and ops can change these and click **Save rules**, and the figures on the page are recalculated with the new values.

| Rule | Default |
|---|---|
| A dial counts as a connect at | 60 seconds (40 to 600) |
| Minimum gap between follow-ups | 6 hours |
| Most calls to one lead in a day | 2 |
| Call a new lead within | 5 minutes |

A connect is decided by how long the call lasted, not by the dialler's answered flag, because some diallers mark a voicemail as answered. If the rules show as defaults that cannot be changed, PYLO has not yet switched this on for your workspace.

## What is on the page

- **By rep:** dials, connects, pick-up rate (connects divided by dials), conversations over three minutes, total talk time and the number of days each rep dialled.
- **Alerts:** a new lead first called later than your speed-to-lead target or never called, a rep with no dials on a working day, and a number that picks up at under half of that rep's usual rate, which may mean it has been flagged as spam.
- **Callbacks kept:** a callback counts as kept when the next call lands within 15 minutes of the time promised, by default. Each missed one links to the lead. Reps record callbacks from the lead's page; see [Leads](/docs/features/leads).
- **Leads gone dead:** leads dialled in the period that went four days (by default) from their first dial without a connect.
- **EOD against the dialler:** the dials the dialler recorded beside the dials each rep reported on their [end-of-day report](/docs/features/eod). A day is marked **Check this** when the two differ by more than 10% and by more than 10 dials.
- **When leads pick up:** pick-up rate by hour and weekday, London time. Darker cells are higher.
- **By number dialled from:** dials and pick-up rate per outgoing number beside the rep's own rate. A number with enough dials whose rate is under half the rep's is marked **Possibly burned**.
- **Cadence:** each time a rep followed up with no answer sooner than the minimum gap, or called one lead more times in a day than the rule allows, with a link to the lead.

## Common questions

**Why is By number dialled from empty?** The numbers reps dial from are only recorded once PYLO switches this on for your workspace. They appear from the next dialler sync after that.

**Why does a reported figure show a pending mark?** The rep did not report dials on their end-of-day report for that day, so there is nothing to compare with.
