# Messaging senders

Every way a workspace sends, the name each one signs as, and the pools that decide which line or mailbox a lead hears from.

Senders lists every email sender, phone number and WhatsApp sender in one place. The page is read only: ask your agent to change a sender or a pool, and it makes a plan that a person approves.

## Each sender

- **Signs as.** A sender's display name is the name its texts carry and what `{sender_name}` fills in a template. It belongs to the sender, never to the person who owns it, so a shared number signs as the team.
- **Owner.** The team member a sender belongs to, if anyone. A lead's owner hears from their own line, and a lead a rep just called hears from the line that called.
- **Today.** What went today against the daily cap. The cap is the account's, shared by every sender on it.
- **Warm-up and health.** The warm-up day, and whether the sender is healthy, at risk, restricted or rested by a person.
- **May send.** One to one, sequences, broadcasts, or a mix.

## Pools

A pool groups senders on one channel with a rule: each lead keeps one sender, each lead gets a sender from their own country, or each lead gets their owner's sender. A sequence sent by PYLO uses the pool its step or channel names. Without one, it uses the workspace's live senders, the lead's own country first.

## Reps' own mailboxes

Each rep can connect their own Gmail or Outlook here, and the consent screen is their own click. The mailbox becomes a sender they own, so their leads' sales sequences email from their own inbox, and a lead's reply lands in Conversations and stops that lead's sales sequence. Basic connects up to three mailboxes; Pro has no limit. One suppression list (bounces, complaints, unsubscribes and the addresses or domains a person adds) is checked before every email from any sender.

## Buying numbers

A US number is bought by a person's click in Messaging, Setup. A UK mobile is filed for in Messaging, Setup and bought through a plan a person approves once its bundle is approved.

## Outreach domains

Send outreach from a separate domain so your everyday email keeps its own reputation. Ask your agent to plan one: it can buy a new domain on your Cloudflare account, which a person approves along with its price, or use a sending subdomain of your own domain such as mail.yourbrand.com. PYLO never moves your nameservers. It adds SPF, DKIM, DMARC and the return path one record at a time, and on your own domain only on the sending subdomain, so your website and everyday email are never touched. Without Cloudflare, each record is listed for you to add by hand.

Each record shows its own status from a DNS lookup, repeated every 15 minutes until the domain is sending. Once every record is found and Amazon SES confirms the domain, its mailboxes switch on and warm up over 14 days, from 20 bulk emails a day to 100. Over that, emails wait for the next day and are never dropped. Basic keeps one outreach domain; Pro has no limit.
