# Getting started as an owner

What the owner role can see and do in PYLO, what to set up on your first day and the screens you will use most.

If you signed up for PYLO, you are the owner of your workspace: signing up creates your agency, your first workspace and your own owner seat together. As an owner you can see and change everything in the workspace, and you are the person PYLO emails if a payment on the account fails.

## What you can see and do

Owners and admins have the same access inside a workspace. Related screens are grouped into hubs in the sidebar: open a hub and its pages are tabs across the top. For you, EOD in the Team hub opens the team's tracking grid rather than a personal report; see [End of day reports](/docs/features/eod).

- **Home** and **My Board**. See [Home](/docs/features/home) and [My Board](/docs/features/my-board).
- **Dashboard**, with tabs for the [Agency Dashboard](/docs/features/dashboard), [Funnel](/docs/features/funnel), [Leaderboard](/docs/features/leaderboard), [Competitions](/docs/features/competitions) and, on the Operator plan, [Reports](/docs/features/reports).
- **Leads**. See [Leads](/docs/features/leads).
- **Calls**, with tabs for [Today](/docs/features/today), [Post-call](/docs/features/post-call), [Bookings](/docs/features/bookings), [Call analysis](/docs/features/call-analysis) and [Lead voice](/docs/features/lead-voice).
- **Webinars**. See [Webinars](/docs/features/webinars).
- **Team**, with tabs for [Team](/docs/features/team), [Activity](/docs/features/activity), EOD and [Payouts](/docs/features/payouts).
- **Money**, with tabs for [Payments](/docs/features/payments) and [Costs](/docs/features/costs).
- **Marketing**, with tabs for [UTM](/docs/features/utm), [Community](/docs/features/community) and, on the Operator plan, [Campaigns](/docs/features/campaigns).
- **Resources** and **Settings**. See [Resources](/docs/features/resources) and the [Settings overview](/docs/settings/overview).
- **Agency OS**, at the top of the sidebar, if you are a member of an agency. Opening it needs the Pro plan. See [Getting started as an agency operator](/docs/getting-started/agency-operator).

In Settings you see every page, including the ones reserved for owners and admins: [Programs](/docs/settings/programs), [Plans](/docs/settings/plans), [Targets and capacity](/docs/settings/targets), [End of day questions](/docs/settings/eod-questions), [Import](/docs/settings/import), [Commission](/docs/settings/commission), [Internal bookings](/docs/settings/internal-bookings), [Flows](/docs/settings/flows), [Audit log](/docs/settings/audit-log) and [Embedded apps](/docs/settings/embedded-apps). You also manage [Billing](/docs/settings/billing), [Integrations](/docs/settings/integrations), [Tools](/docs/settings/tools), [Layout](/docs/settings/layout) and [API tokens](/docs/settings/api-tokens).

Some screens need the Pro plan. On Basic, the Agency Dashboard, Funnel, Leaderboard, Payouts, Competitions, Resources and Rep levels send you back to My Board, and CSV export is not offered. [Billing and plans](/docs/billing-and-plans) has the full list.

## Your first day

Open [Home](/docs/features/home). Above the assistant you will see a card called **Set up your workspace**, which counts the steps done out of eleven. Each open step has an **Open** button that takes you to the screen that completes it, and many also offer **Ask PYLO to do this**, which walks you through the step in conversation. The steps are:

1. **Who you are**: workspace name, brand colour, currency, timezone, end of day cutoff and the monthly cash goal.
2. **What PYLO needs from you**: every call gets a post-call form and every rep files an end of day report, or the numbers are wrong.
3. **Your stack**: connect your CRM, booking, forms, webinars, payments, team chat, community and call recording, one at a time, in [Integrations](/docs/settings/integrations). See [Connectors](/docs/connectors).
4. **Bring your pipeline across**: import the leads and calls already in Close or GoHighLevel, previewed before anything is written. Optional.
5. **Bring your history across**: import your previous tracker's exports. Optional.
6. **Your team**: add people with their roles and commission rates, then invite them.
7. **Your offers**: programmes, prices and the default payment plan, in [Programs](/docs/settings/programs).
8. **Your end-of-day forms**: the questions each role answers, in [End of day questions](/docs/settings/eod-questions).
9. **Where PYLO tells you things**: a Slack channel or a Discord webhook per kind of message. Optional.
10. **Your clients' onboarding form**: the questions sent to a client when a deal closes. Optional.
11. **Prove it works**: the integration test, run from [Tools](/docs/settings/tools). PYLO only reports your setup as live once it passes.

When every step is done the card shrinks to one line and later disappears.

## Inviting your team

On [Team](/docs/features/team), choose **Invite member**. Give each person a name, an email and a role: closer, setter, SDR, admin or owner. Tick **Email them a secure login link** and they get a link to sign in with no password; their account links to their team row the first time they sign in. You can also set commission rates, their Slack and Discord user IDs, and whether they **Can see full team commission data**.

Each plan includes a set number of seats per workspace, and the seat count is shown on [Billing](/docs/settings/billing).
