# Getting started as an SDR

What an SDR can see and do in PYLO, what to do on your first day and the screens you will use most.

As an SDR, your month in PYLO is measured on the appointments you set and on how many triages you actually get through to. Most of what you record goes into your end of day report, because PYLO has no automatic source for SDR activity yet. Everything you see is about your own work unless your manager has given you wider access.

## What you can see and do

Your sidebar shows Home, My Board, **Dashboard** (with tabs for the [Agency Dashboard](/docs/features/dashboard), [Funnel](/docs/features/funnel) and [Leaderboard](/docs/features/leaderboard)), [Leads](/docs/features/leads), [Post-call](/docs/features/post-call), [Webinars](/docs/features/webinars), EOD and [Payments](/docs/features/payments). The other hubs hold screens for owners and admins, so a hub you can open only one page of simply shows as that page.

- **Post-call** gives you the **Confirm a lead** tab, as it does for setters.
- **Payments** shows the payments attributed to you.
- The Agency Dashboard, Funnel and Leaderboard need your workspace to be on the Pro plan. On Basic they send you back to My Board.

In Settings you can open [Account](/docs/settings/account), to change your own password, and [Digests](/docs/settings/digests), to see and turn off recurring answers you asked PYLO to send to Slack or Discord.

Your manager can give you **team EOD access**, which makes the EOD link open the team's tracking grid, and **full team commission data**, which shows commission across the whole team.

## Your first day

1. **Sign in** with the secure link in your invite email. No password is needed.
2. **Set your targets.** At the start of each month PYLO asks for them before anything else. As an SDR you are asked for **Appointments set**, and optionally **Triages connected**. If you are not ready, choose **No target yet**: your board shows the target as unset rather than zero, and PYLO asks again next month.
3. **Install the rep app** on your phone and turn on notifications. See [The rep app and push notifications](/docs/rep-app).
4. **Confirm leads** you pass on. On [Post-call](/docs/features/post-call), open **Confirm a lead**, search by name, email or phone, and add a note for the closer.
5. **Send your end of day report** before you finish.

## Your end of day report

Open EOD in the sidebar or the EOD tab in the rep app. Nothing is auto-filled for SDRs yet, so every number is yours to enter:

- Triages attempted and triages connected
- Dials attempted and conversations
- Appointments set
- DMs sent and DM replies
- Qualified conversations and appointments from DMs

You can add triage notes and outbound notes, record your total talk time in a form like 1:45, and rate your triage quality and outbound quality from Poor to Excellent. The report ends with four reflection questions and two checks, **CRM updated?** and **Call reminders done?**. Your workspace may add questions of its own. See [End of day reports](/docs/features/eod).

## Screens you will use most

- [End of day reports](/docs/features/eod), every day, because it is where your activity is recorded.
- [My Board](/docs/features/my-board), which by default shows **My sets**, **My qualified rate**, **My calls** and **My commission**, with your target.
- [Home](/docs/features/home). The suggested questions for an SDR are whether your EOD is in today, your calls today, your show rate this month and where you rank on the leaderboard.
- [Post-call](/docs/features/post-call), for **Confirm a lead**.
- [Leaderboard](/docs/features/leaderboard), on Pro.
