Connecting ManyChat to PYLO, what it brings and how to tell it is working.

ManyChat connects to PYLO so that:

• DM funnel opt-ins from Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp arrive as leads on the DM funnel, matched to the person PYLO already has.
• Application to booking for the DM funnel's opt-ins, beside every other form.

Connecting

ManyChat connects by an address PYLO gives you, which the tool posts to. Open Settings, then Integrations, then ManyChat.

1. Create the address below and copy it.
2. In the ManyChat flow, ask for the contact's email before this step (a User Input step saved to the email field). PYLO files a person by email, so a contact with none is refused rather than filed twice.
3. Add an Action, Dev Tools, External Request: method POST, the address as the URL, and in the Body tab tick Add Full Contact Data.
4. Store UTMs or pylo_form in custom fields of those names and they arrive with the contact. Leads land on the DM funnel unless you map the form key elsewhere under Website form.
5. Run the flow once as a test contact. This page says connected when it arrives.

What PYLO reads

• The contact's name, email, phone and Instagram username
• Custom fields the flow set, such as UTMs and pylo_form
• The link to the conversation in ManyChat

It does not read:

• The conversation itself
• Contacts who never reach the External Request step
