Calls
Call analysis
Why deals are lost and how calls are run, from the fields reps confirmed on analysed call recordings.
Call analysis (titled Call insights on the page) reports on your recorded sales calls: objections, how calls are run, which segments close, and whether lead scores match outcomes. It is built from fields PYLO extracts from each recording and your reps confirm. Cash comes from payments only.
Who can open it
Owners and admins. Others are told it is for owners and admins. The report needs the Pro plan. Without it, the page says the report is on the top plan.
How the fields get there
When a recorded call is analysed, PYLO drafts fields such as objections, budget, decision-maker and next step, each with a quote and a timestamp. The call's closer, or an owner or admin, confirms, edits or rejects each one beside the post-call form or on the call in the lead's page. By default the report uses confirmed fields only. Tick Include fields not yet confirmed to add the rest.
What is on the page
Choose From and to dates and click Show. The page opens on the last 90 days.
- Objections: how many analysed calls there were, and for each kind of objection the share of calls that raised it. An objection on 30% of calls or more is marked as a topic signal, once there are at least 20 analysed calls.
- How calls are run: the share of no-close calls where a next step was booked, the median pitch and discovery length in minutes, and the share of calls where a discount or incentive was offered.
- Segments: close rate, average order value and cash per booked call, split by stated budget, by whether the decision-maker was on the call, and by country. When there are closed calls with both a stated budget and cash collected, the page also shows the median of cash paid over budget stated.
- Lead scores against outcomes: whether lead quality scores predicted how leads ended. A score counts as agreeing when it was above the team's median and the lead closed, or at or below it and the lead did not. For each scorer you also see how often their high scores went to leads the call says had no decision-maker or a budget under 1,000. A scorer is flagged when their agreement is 20 points or more below the team's on at least 10 scored leads.
Settings
The Settings card controls analysis for your workspace:
- Analyse this workspace's recorded calls turns analysis on or off.
- Phrases to flag, one per line.
- How many days to keep a raw transcript after analysis. Blank keeps them.
If analysis is not yet switched on, the card says so, and nothing is analysed until it is.
Common questions
Why does a figure say Not shown? A rate or median with nothing behind it, for example no no-close calls in the period, is not shown as a number.
Why does the page say call analysis is not switched on? PYLO switches this on for your workspace.
What the figures mean
Each explanation below is generated from PYLO's metric registry, the same source Ask PYLO and Claude quote from, so the docs and their answers always agree.
