End of day reports

How reps file their end-of-day report, and how managers track who has filed across the team.

Read as Markdown

End of day reports (EODs) are the short daily report each closer, setter and SDR files about their day. There are two screens: My EOD at /eod, where a rep files and reviews their own, and the Daily tracking grid at /admin/eod, where managers see the whole team. The sidebar's EOD item opens the one you can use.

Who can open each screen

  • My EOD is for closers, setters and SDRs. Other roles have no report to file and are sent to My Board.
  • The Daily tracking grid is for owners, admins and ops, and for any member given permission to view team EODs. Anyone else is sent to My EOD.

Filing your EOD

On My EOD, click Fill today's EOD (or Update today's EOD once you have filed). The form changes with your role:

  • Closers get today's calls, live calls, closes, cash collected and no-shows filled in from the calls PYLO holds, then hours worked and an energy rating.
  • Setters see the calls booked in Calendly, then enter inbounds, outbounds, follow-ups, calls pitched, calls booked, dials, pickups and conversations. Your own calls booked can differ from the Calendly figure.
  • SDRs enter triages attempted and connected, dials, conversations, appointments set, DMs sent and replies, plus notes and quality ratings.

Every role answers four reflection questions and a short checklist. Any extra questions your workspace has added appear too; see End of day questions.

You can also fill a BOD (beginning of day) with your main focus, a target and anything blocking you.

Your EOD figures

  • My Compliance Rate is explained in What the figures mean, at the end of this page.
  • Current Streak counts consecutive days filed, ending today or yesterday.
  • Avg Submission Time is your average filing time of day, in London time.

EOD History lists every report you have filed.

The Daily tracking grid

The Daily view shows today for every active closer, setter and SDR:

  • Compliance rate is reports filed today divided by team size. It shows green at 80% or above and amber below 60%.
  • Submitted today, Missing submissions and Avg submission time.
  • Today's grid marks each person Submitted, Submitted late or Not submitted, with their first reflection answer or a stats summary.
  • Weekly compliance trend covers the last seven days.

A report filed at or after your workspace's cutoff hour counts as late. The default is 19:00 London time.

Send a nudge reminds everyone missing today's report and tells you how it went out, or that nothing was sent because no Slack destination is set up.

Owners, admins and ops can Submit on behalf of someone who has not filed. View report opens a filed report. The History view lists submissions for the last 7 days, the last 30 days or all time. On the Pro plan you can export the grid.

Common questions

Why does compliance show a pending mark? With no active sales team members there is nothing to divide by, so no rate is shown.

What the figures mean

Each explanation below is generated from PYLO's metric registry, the same source Ask PYLO and Claude quote from, so the docs and their answers always agree.

Daily Tracking Grid

End-of-day reports filed

Distinct dates in the period on which this rep filed an end-of-day report. Two reports for one date count once, because the denominator counts days.

  • Shown to: closers, setters and SDRs.

EOD compliance this month

Days this rep filed an end-of-day report this month as a share of the days of the month so far.

  • Counts: End-of-day reports filed, out of Days elapsed this month.
  • Shown to: closers, setters and SDRs.
