Post-call questions

Add questions of your own to the post-call form, reword or reorder them, and stop asking ones you no longer need.

This page adds questions of your own to the post-call form. PYLO's own fields stay as they are, because outcomes, cash and payment plans drive commission and every report. Your questions are asked after PYLO's sections on every outcome, on the desktop form and on the phone. For the form itself, see Post-call.

Who can open it

Owners and admins see Post-call in the Settings menu. Ops users can also open the page by its address and save changes, though it is not in their menu. Anyone else is sent to Account.

What is on the screen

• What the form already records, marked Read only, lists PYLO's own fields and outcomes. These cannot be reworded or removed.
• Your own questions lists the questions you ask, in order, and shows how many of 20 are in use.
• No longer asked appears once you have stopped asking a question.

Add a question

1. Under Add a question, type the wording.
2. Choose the Answer type: Number, Short text or Yes or no.
3. Choose Add.
4. Tick Required if every form must answer it.
5. Choose Save questions.

PYLO makes the question's field name from the wording and shows it as you type. The wording can change later but the field name cannot. PYLO warns you if the wording clashes with one of its own fields or one of your existing questions, or if you already ask 20.

Change a question

• Reword it by typing over the Question box.
• Reorder it with the up and down arrows.
• Stop asking it with the bin button. It moves to No longer asked. Choose Ask this again to bring it back.

Then choose Save questions. The next form filed uses the new list.

Common questions

Why can I not change the answer type? Answers filed under the old type would read wrongly. Stop asking the question and add a new one.

Why can I not delete a question outright? Its answers stay on every call filed while it was asked. PYLO keeps its field name reserved so a new question never picks up an old one's answers. Up to 100 questions can be kept in all, counting those no longer asked.

I removed an unsaved question and it moved to No longer asked. The bin button moves any question there, saved or not. To drop it, reload the page before saving, which discards every unsaved change.

The page says the question store is not set up. Your workspace cannot store these questions yet, so saving is switched off. The page also shows this when it could not read your questions, so reload before assuming nothing is set up.

Saving fails with a message about payment. While your account is read only for an outstanding payment, the questions cannot be changed.
