Import
How to bring past calls, payments and leads into PYLO from a file, Airtable, Close or GoHighLevel, with a preview before anything is saved.
Import brings history into PYLO so you do not start from an empty workspace. You can upload a sales report export, pull call data from an Airtable base, or bring existing leads across from Close or GoHighLevel. Every route shows a preview first, and importing the same rows again never creates duplicates.
Who can open it
Owners and admins. Import is not shown in the Settings menu for anyone else, and only owners and admins can preview or run an import. Closers, setters and SDRs who open the address are sent to their own board.
Pick a source
Choose one of the four buttons at the top: Upload a file, From Airtable, From Close or From GoHighLevel. All four share the same de-duplication, so rows already imported one way show as Already imported the other way.
Upload a file
- Choose
Upload a file, then drop your CSV export on the box or chooseChoose file. - PYLO reads it and shows a preview with four counts:
Will import,Already imported,Needs reviewandNot imported. Each row carries its verdict, and any columns PYLO will not read are named. - Check the preview, then choose the import button, which shows how many rows it will create. Or cancel.
- The result shows how many leads, calls and payments were created, how many were already there, and any failed rows.
From Airtable
Connect your Airtable account, then choose the base and table your call data lives in and match your columns to PYLO's fields. You then get the same preview and confirm step as a file upload. You can disconnect Airtable from this panel.
From Close
This brings the leads in your Close pipeline across to PYLO once. It needs your Close key saved on Integrations first.
- Choose
From Closeand check what is in Close. - Choose which Close statuses to bring across.
Everything except Lost and Junkis offered as a choice. - Review the counts and the sample of leads that will be created, then run the import.
Close's status is shown so you can see it but is not copied into PYLO. An imported lead starts with no history, and PYLO works out its status from what happens on calls afterwards.
From GoHighLevel
This works like Close, but groups contacts by tag, because a GoHighLevel contact has no pipeline stage of its own. A contact can carry several tags, so the tag counts overlap, but each contact is only imported once.
What changes elsewhere
Imported leads appear on Leads, and imported calls and payments count in your reporting and on Payments.
