Connectors

Brevo

Connecting Brevo to PYLO, what it brings and how to tell it is working.

Read as MarkdownGenerated from PYLO's live description of itself.

Brevo connects to PYLO so that:

  • Each lead's Brevo lists and whether they unsubscribed, on the lead's page.
  • How many of your emails each lead received, opened and clicked in the last 90 days, and how many of your leads read your emails at all.

Connecting

Brevo connects by an API key you paste into PYLO. Open Settings, then Integrations, then Brevo.

You provideWhere to find it
API keyIn Brevo, open your name at the top right, then SMTP & API, then API keys (it may say API keys & MCP), and generate a standard API key. It starts with xkeysib-. Not the SMTP key and not the MCP key. PYLO reads with it, and adds a lead to a list only when one of your recipes says to.

What PYLO reads

  • Contacts PYLO asks about by email: their lists, whether email to them is blocked, and the campaigns they received, opened and clicked

It does not read:

  • Anyone PYLO does not already hold as a lead
  • Transactional emails and SMS, which Brevo keeps apart from campaign statistics
  • Anything older than 90 days, which Brevo does not give for one contact by default
